OMG I have figured it out! You are going to love this. How many times has a client that you have coloreded level 2-5 walked in, sat down and said, "I want bright red highlightes without bleaching!" UGGGH! OK, so here is a tried and true formula:

1 part hi lift tint of your choice (i like 11/43 for warmth or 11/6 for cool results)
+
1 part MIcrored of your choice (this is your target color)
+
1 part 40 volume
process 30-45 min.

I have done this well over 7 times now in different variations and I have had consistent beautiful results in one step. Keep in mind though I have been the one applying their color so I am totally comfortable with what is on their hair. While I am sure it might work with other color lines, it might not be as consistent so test strand. I would love to hear if anyone else tries this and has success!
