Serendipity Salon, owned by Mary & Brad Hess in Logan, Ut raised money for women who cannot afford mammograms. For one month, $5 dollars from every color application was added to a fund. Approximately $10,000 was raised in October 2008. Over 70 women received mammograms that would in no other way receive one. Having been a survivor of breast cancer due to early detection, this was a huge success! Thank you Serendipity Salon!
