Grey Coverage

Our guests will not pay top dollar for their hair color if their grey isn't covered, when that is why they are coloring their hair! And let's face it, why should they? To keep exceeding your guest expectations and keep them loyal, be aware of the following tips:
1. Accurately determine the percentage of grey.
The formulation you use today, may not be the formulation you use at their next visit! Check the percentage of grey at every visit and adjust your formulation according to the Kadus guidelines.
2. Add heat!
Because of the low ammonia content of Kadus hair color (.8-2.4), medium heat can be applied. This slightly opens the hair shaft and aids in the penetration of hair color. Simply bag your guest's hair, and reduce the timing by one third.

3. Consider a double pigment formulation.
As a guest ages, their hair can become more resistant to color. Resistant gray needs more pigment for good coverage. Use two parts color and one part 30 volume developer to enable total penetration.

4. Spot Coverage.
If there is a particular area of the hair that just will not cover, utilize spot coverage. Simple place the color directly from the tube on to the hair and then apply the normal formulation over the top. We recommend the gold series for this procedure because gold is the smallest molecule and will penetrate deeply in to the hair shaft. The result is excellent grey coverage
